  Bramford Eggstravaganza! 🐣🌷🍫

  Yesterday we had our very own Easter Eggstravaganza event in the hall after school. There were lots of chocolate treats, games and prizes to be won! The children enjoyed guessing the name of the Easter bunny, buying second hand school books, entering the tombola and raffle and taking part in our Easter accessory competition! We also had our HSA school swap shop, which will be coming to the website soon.

  KS1 Share Afternoon 🏰

  Hedgehogs, Hares and Woodpeckers were very excited to welcome their parents and carers into their classrooms this week. The children loved having the adults to help and share their creativity and some of the adults really enjoyed the colouring too! We made crowns, princess hats, catapults, shield and even drew our version of the Bayeaux Tapestry, all related to our learning about Castles.

  Easter Church Service ⛪🐣🌷

  On Tuesday we ventured to our local church in the wind and the rain for our Easter service. We heard the story of Easter, told by lots of different children at our school and joined in with hymns and Easter songs! Everyone was so well behaved and it was lovely to have everyone together to celebrate Easter.

  The children's behaviour was absolutely impeccable during our time at Framlingham castle - It was even noticed by others visiting the castle!

  This year the children all united to create an amazing Red Nose inspired artwork as a whole school, helping to raise awareness of the charitable work and value of fundraising.

  It was fantastic to welcome both friends and family into school to share with the children some science themed activities as part of our annual Science Week organised by Mrs Legg.

  Red Nose Day 🔴🍰

  The children of Bramford were very excited to celebrate Red Nose Day today, coming to school dressed in red! We enjoyed looking at our special Red Nose Day art, completing challenges, quizzes and most importantly, eating cake! We were very pleased to see that our Just Giving page had raised over £300!   Hedgehogs were very excited to open up the classroom to parents and carers so that they could share their books and all of their hard work! It was lovely to see the children talking about their learning and being praised for their efforts!

  

• World Book Day 2023 Footy Booky Quiz

  Fun was had by the KS2 children as they took part in a live World Book Day quiz involving some Premier League and WSL football stars.

   

  It was also a great opportunity for the classes to read one of their favourite books to a buddy in another class. It was lovely to see all the enthusiastic readers smile and have fun while reading and listening to books of many kinds.

  

• Frogs Real Life Maths

  Frogs have been learning how to measure using metre sticks and working out the perimeter of different areas of the school. They calculated that the new KS1 block has a perimeter of 9340cm! Wow!
