Here are KS1 enjoying their word problem scavenger hunt and a spot of place value beanbag throwing! It was so lovely to see everyone working together and being ACE!

It was lovely to come together in the church with our friends and families to mark Remembrance day. Each class carefully carried their beautifully decorated crosses to the church, which were displayed by Reverend Eric. There were some readings read by our year six pupils and of course some hymns!

    Forest School fire! 🔥🌳

We were all very excited to have our first Forest School fire last Friday! We had spent a few weeks using our log circle carefully and talking about how to be safe around fire in preparation. The children were AMAZING at remembering the safety rules and being very careful when the fire was lit. They were also mesmerised by the burning flames, talking lots about their new topic 'London's burning'. We look forward to more Friday's around the fire with marshmallows and hot chocolate!

The Great Fire of London! 🔥

KS1 were very excited to become detectives and find out about their new topic 'London's burning'. The children wrote questions to which they hoped to answer using their detective skills. Once they had written their questions, they used artefacts such as paintings, diary entries, news paper articles and pictures to help them to answer some of their questions. Here the children are trying to find out some new information about the famous fire!
