• Giles Art in Year 3

  Year 3 have been trying to draw in the style of Giles the artist, originally from Ipswich! 

   

  Mr Barnes showed them how Giles created his art on the whiteboard, then the children had a go themselves. We have some very accurate drawings. Well done Year 3 - ACE work!

  

• Digging the Prayer Garden

  A few keen and helpful children from Year 6 spent an energetic lunchtime helping to create the planting areas in the new prayer garden. Great work. 

  

• French Epiphany Cake

  In Year 4 French we learned about French New Year and how Epiphany is celebrated in France on 6th January. We made a Galette Des Rois (cake of the kings) and sliced it to see who would get the lucky charm inside. There were 2 winners who were queens for the day and wore the cake's crown! We enjoyed tasting the cake- it was delicious!
