  KS1 Village trip! 🏡

  Hares and Hedgehogs were excited to finish their topic 'There's no place like home' with a trip around the village. The aim of our trip was to see what our land was used for and to spot any buildings or landmarks. We were excited to see the co-op, pharmacy, carpet shop, coffee shop and of course the pub! The children were experts at using their vocabulary to talk about the houses they could see, such as; bungalows, cottages, detached, semi detached and terraced.

  There's no place like home! 🏡

  KS1 have been very excited to start their new topic for the Autumn term - 'There's no place like home'. They have shown great enthusiasm in learning about lots of different houses and homes as well as new vocabulary! In Geography we have located our houses and school on a map and looked at lots of different landmarks within our village. We are very excited for our walk around the village to look at how different parts of the village have used the land!
