The year 4 children participated in a Clean Air Event and looked at ways in which we can protect our environment to minimise pollution. What solutions do you think the children came up with? Everyone enjoyed the session and each child came up with a pledge to help protect the world in which we live in.
The whole school had a fantastic time at the Sports Days.
The children have thoroughly enjoyed themselves taking part in lots of different events and races. Lots of memories were created and some were talking on the podium about their memories of previous Sports Days from the past. Congratulations to Mr Becker for the organisation and execution of a once more fantastically ACE Sports Day (across the two afternoons).
The children who took part in the Right Royal Readathon were awarded well-deserved certificates in our celebration assembly today. Each of them was sponsored to read 70 pages (or more) for the 70 years of the queen's reign! They raised an impressive £937.41 in sponsorship money! This money will be used to buy new books for our children to read, which our School Council will help to choose. We will also make a donation to Suffolk Libraries, which is a registered charity and organised the readathon across the county. Thank you very much to all the family members who supported the children by reading with them and sponsoring them.
