  • Kidd's Kitchen!

Thu 17 Feb 2022 Mrs Burgess

We had an official unveiling ceremony this morning as it is Mrs Kidd's last day with us at Bramford. She has lovingly made an amazing mud kitchen for the children in Hares, Hedgehogs and Woodpeckers with the help of Mrs Horlock and the upcycling group.

The children could not wait to investigate and we were super impressed with the working tap!

Thank you Mrs. Kidd, we will miss you.

  • Poo Laboratory!

Thu 17 Feb 2022 Mrs Burgess

Reception and Year 1 children were met with a challenging task last week; after receiving a letter from the Zoo asking for help, the children rose to the challenge of investigating different types of ‘poo’ to determine the type of animal it had come from.
Thankfully, with their Scientific expertise, the children knew what evidence to look for. They spotted signs of Carnivore, Herbivore and Omnivore and were able to determine that more than one animal has escaped its enclosure. The next challenge will be creating an enclosure that is so nice, they want to come back!

Woodpeckers, Hedgehogs and Hares have been learning about Chinese New Year this week.
