  • Frogs learning update!

Wed 20 May 2026 Mrs Sawyer

Frogs have been enjoying making their own items for a class enterprise sale inspired by the Careers fortnight we had! Photo included of us dressed up as jobs ‘we would like to be.’ We have also loved venturing outside in our Science lessons to investigate plants and Miss Hallinan created a scavenger hunt to find facts and match up to Henry the VIII’s wives for our History topic.

  • U11s Boys Football Match report

Mon 18 May 2026 Mrs Sawyer

Bramford U11s Boys put in a fantastic performance yesterday in their match against The Oaks. The team showed great determination, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the game.

It was a closely contested match, with strong defending and some excellent attacking play on display from both teams. The first half ended 0–0, with Bramford working hard for each other and creating several chances while remaining solid at the back.

Unfortunately, The Oaks scored early in the second half to take a 1–0 lead. Despite plenty of hard work, effort and determination from the Bramford boys, they were unable to find an equaliser. The players continued to battle until the final whistle, supporting and encouraging one another throughout the game.

We are incredibly proud of the Bramford boys’ team for their resilience, positive attitude and commitment.  Getting themselves to the Quarter finals in the Owain Richard's Cup is no mean feat.  Well done boys!

Thank you as always to Mr Vickers for his expert referring skills and coaching alongside Mrs Harvey on a Monday after school.  Thank you to all of the parent support the boys received also - it was much appreciated.

The season is not quite over yet, as the boys still have one more league match to play against our federation school, Somersham today!

Our U11s girls’ football team put in a fantastic performance yesterday after school in their quarter-final cup match against Heath Primary School. The team showed great determination, teamwork and sportsmanship throughout the game.

It was a closely contested match, with strong defending and some excellent attacking play on display. The girls worked hard for each other, supporting and encouraging their teammates from start to finish. Unfortunately, we were unable to break through the Heath defence and the match ended 1–0 to Heath.

We are incredibly proud of the Bramford girls’ team for their effort, resilience and positive attitude throughout their Cup run.  Well done Girls!

The season is not quite over yet, as the girls still have one more league match to play against our federation school, Somersham. So watch this space!

  • Magpies and their careers

Tue 05 May 2026 Mrs Sawyer

We have had a busy 2 weeks learning and finding out about many different career pathways and thinking about what we would like to be when we grow up. Everyone enjoyed dressing up as their career choice and even had ago at using Mrs MacDonald's violin!
