  • Football Festivals!👣⚽

Mon 16 Jun 2025 Mrs Ross

There were two football festivals we attended. A festival for our U7 children and one for our U10 girls team.

Both afternoons were a joy to attend as a Bramford staff member.  Every pupil represented themselves and Bramford beautifully. All players worked as a team, demonstrated fantastic team spirit and for some who had never played football, courage and determination but most of all they all had fun! Our U10s girls drew two of their matches and won two! Thank you to Mr Vickers who gave up his time to support the two teams and the kind adults who also gave up their time to transport the children to ITFC. Well done to all who participated for being ACE!

  • Reception Jimmy's Farm trip! 🐷

Mon 16 Jun 2025 Mrs Ross

Woodpeckers and Foxes enjoyed a very sunny first school trip to Jimmy's Farm.

After a morning learning about the 'Animals ABC', we took some much needed shade in the woodland and put our Forest School skills to good use with some expert den building.

  • U11s semi final cup match ⚽

Tue 03 Jun 2025 Mrs Ross
    U11s semi final cup match
Yesterday afternoon our U11 boys Football Team played their semi final cup match game against 'St Mark's Primary'.

Our opponents today were skilled and competent opponents.  St Mark's team opened the scoring with a confident first goal; with a second St Mark's goal not long after.  It was difficult for our team to penetrate their defence in the first half and frustration was on the faces of our team.  At half time the Bramford boys were encouraged and reminded to play as a team.
The game became pacier with our players stepping up their game to match their opponents.  It was then that the breakthrough happened.  Linked play and  perseverance to hold possession of the ball meant chances opened up to us.  With three amazingly ACE Bramford goals scored consecutively, the possession in the second half was very much ours but not without the Bramford defence and goalkeeper having to work extremely hard to keep out some amazingly close near misses too.  The winning goal was scored in the final couple of minutes of the game securing our place in the cup FINALS!    The match ended with a triumphant final score of...3:2...to Bramford!   The team thoroughly deserved this win.

As always, thank you to all the parents who spectated.  Mr Vickers and Mrs Harvey, thank you for your time, dedicated coaching and words of encouragement from the sideline.

As a school we are VERY proud of the way the boys performed as a team.  We wait with excitement as to the team we will play in the FINAL and where the match venue will be.
You are ACE! We have ended the season with three consecutive wins!
