Resources to support your child with reading

The resources to support your child with reading promote the recognition of 'diagraphs' and 'trigraphs' within words so that your child can read the word accurately. Children can add use their knowledge of 'sound buttons' to identify individual graphemes along with digraphs, trigraphs and split diagraphs. There is also a list of tricky words that your child will need to know how to read and spell by the end of Year 1.

The alien words are also available to support your child in reading phonetically in preparation for the phonics screening check.
