On Wednesday the 25 th of September Year 6 went on their residential trip to stay at PGL Bawdsey Manor, Suffolk. The three days help the children to build their confidence, deal with new and unfamiliar situations, improve personal organisation and to take responsibility. As can be seen in the photos, they took part in a variety of adventurous activities.

Here are some of the comments the children wrote about their stay:

'The giant swing was a lot of fun! We had to pull the rope for the others to use the swing...'

'The first time I did climbing, I was only two rocks away from the top, by listening to the instructor, who had two techniques - knees to chest, or go up like stairs. I used both.'

'One of my favourite activities was canoeing. It was really fun with the challenges - such as standing on the edge of the canoe... After the session we all got to swim in the lake and that was one of my highlights.'

'PGL was definitely one of my favourite memories at Bramford.'
