Bramford CEVC
Primary School
Both our U11s teams were in action yesterday afternoon at home in one of our last league games this year against Morland Primary. The girls kicked things off and, as always, put in a fantastic performance.
From the first whistle, the Bramford girls showed great energy, teamwork, and determination. They worked tirelessly for each other and never stopped giving their best throughout the match.
Despite their efforts, they came up against a very strong Morland Primary side and the game finished 6–1. While the result didn’t go our way, the attitude and commitment shown by every player was outstanding.
Next, it was the turn of the boys, whose game started at a fast pace and continued that way throughout.
The first half was closely contested, with both teams battling hard and creating chances, but neither side was able to break the deadlock, making it 0–0 at half-time.
It wasn’t until the second half that Morland managed to find the back of the Bramford net. However, the Bramford boys showed great resilience and determination, refusing to give up. They continued to work hard as a team, supporting one another across the pitch.
Their efforts were rewarded with a well-deserved equaliser — a great goal — and they went on to create several more chances, coming close to taking the lead.
The boys’ league match finished 1–1, a fair result in a competitive and exciting game.
Both teams never gave up and continued to support one another right to the final whistle — a real credit to themselves and the school.
We now look forward to our next matches after the Easter break.
Well done, Bramford footballers, parent and carer supporters and Mr Vickers who refereed both matches today — you are ACE!
