U11s boys football team V The Oaks ⚽
Yesterday afternoon our U11 boys Football Team played their second round Cup game against The Oaks.
It was the most exciting nail biting match we have seen all season.
We played at home which was lovely because it meant we had a few extra special supporters - some of the team's friends and peers watching the match.
The boys started the match with great enthusiasm and drive with much of the game played in the opposition's half. Unfortunately though the team went down 1:0 to The Oaks but this didn't deter our team. Heads didn't go down and the Bramford team showed that great determination, hard work and keeping a good attitude eventually paid off. Within the dying seconds of the game an equaliser was found. Which took Bramford through to extra time. It was then that the boys' confidence grew and two additional Bramford goals came. The match ended with a fabulous final score of...3:1...to Bramford! The boys thoroughly deserved the win.
Which now means the Bramford Boys are into the Owain Richard's Quarter Finals! We wait to hear who they will play next.
As always, thank you to all the parents who spectated. Mr Vickers thank you for your time, coaching and refereeing skills and Mrs Harvey for your time and coaching support with words of encouragement from the sideline.
Once again we are VERY proud of the way the team performed and their hard working attitude and team spirit shone through.
You are ACE! Two wins in one week!
