Remembrance Church Service ⛪🌹

This morning we walked sensibly to the church for our special remembrance service led by Mrs Squirrell and Reverend Eric. Year 6 explained why we commemorate the 11th November and also reminded us why we wear poppies each year. Children from Reception to Year 6 sang songs and hymns that they had been learning with Miss Emms and also presented their class wreaths which they had been busy making. On our walk back to school we admired the beautiful poppies that some of our children have been busy making at home to help us to decorate our Duckamere fence. There are 80 poppies in total!
